The installers ran the vent out the side of the house, rather than through the rood, which I did not expect.  The reason is that the condensing heat exchanger is so efficient there is very little heat in the exhaust and therefore it is safe to vent in that manner.  The 2-person team required 7 hours to install and set up the furnace.  The following day another technician came and checked it out before starting it up and making a few adjustments.  I’m quite happy with this furnace’s performance and recommend it without reservation.”
